Who we are
This site is run by VenturesSky Ltd, trading as TailsTap, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 05525840), registered office D&D Accountancy Suite 006, 44–60 Richardshaw Lane, Pudsey, England, LS28 7UR. We are the data controller for the details you give us here. You can contact us about your data at info@tailstap.co.uk.
What we collect
When you apply for a founding place, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, business name, email address, town or area, your main service, and anything you tell us about what would make booking easier.
Like any website, our server also records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. We use it to keep the site secure and working, for example to stop automated spam.
Why we use it
We use your application to review it, to contact you about the Founding 50 programme, and to arrange a conversation and demo if it’s a good fit. We do this because you asked us to consider your application, and because it’s in our legitimate interest to run the programme. We use the technical information in our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
We won’t use your details for unrelated marketing, and we won’t sell them.
Who sees it
Your details are seen by the TailsTap team running the programme. We don’t share them with other businesses for their own use. We use a small number of service providers to run this site, such as our hosting and email providers. They handle your details only on our instructions and under contract. If any of them processes data outside the UK, we make sure the safeguards UK law requires are in place.
Cookies
This site uses a single cookie, which is needed to send the application form securely. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
If you join the programme, we keep your details for as long as you take part, and then as the law requires. If you don’t, we delete your application within 12 months of receiving it. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. To do any of these, email info@tailstap.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
